In the afternoon the jury’s green t-shirt was put on and the 5 best discus of each category were judged – it took all afternoon. Only the t-shirt for Dougall, the President of the UK Discus Association, did not fit…
Something with the Polish method of judging did not work as it should. (Not enough correct information and it was only their second time to judge.) Heiko, after the final results, pointed out the errors to all judges: some discus had been placed into the wrong category and therefore were not judged and others also not because of their small size, like these two beautiful specimens. A fantastic (the best) wild Green Discus (left) – the Polish judges thought a discus must have 18cm (they said it is written somewhere), and this best Red Turquoise (right) – a typical fish from the original Schmidt-Focke strain was also not judged because it was placed into the wrong category and also because of not having 18 cm…
In the evening we were invited to a historical old restaurant by the Polish Discus Club, where the some was founded 4 years ago, And this evening the PKMD signed an agreement with Dr. Sun, President of the Singapur Discus Association. And everyone wrote in the guest book.
