Poland – Łódź, 8-10 May 2009
The bi-annual PetFair 2009 – Międzynarodowe Targi Łódźkie – took place again in Łódź, Poland, from 8-10 May 2009 and Heiko Bleher & Aquapress Publishers was invited by TROPICAL Tadeusz Ogrodnik, Poland, to participate and give a lecture…
The Międzynarodowe Targi Łódźkie is Poland’s largest Pet Fair and again this time was very successful, although it took place at the same days as the also bi-annual Zoomark Pet Fair in Bologna, Italy. Many people came and visited also the life animal booth and the biotope aquariums and those of the famous Polish Discus Club. Below some photos of this unique event.
There were many stands in two pavilions, also the publisher of the Akwarium (the owner with Heiko)
Dogs, cats, mice, amphibians and reptiles, there was a huge exhibition on life animals…
There were some very nice “biotope-like” aquariums decorated quite natural even with a Rio das Mortes biotope (with Hyphessobrycon amandae). But Pawel Szewczak, Poland’s most famous aquascape man (above with Heiko next to his display) topped all decorations
The PetFair had s special section for the Polish Discus Club, a very brave group of discus lovers, who displayed many aquariums, unfortunately in the bright sunlight and the photography was impossible…
And there was a very interesting display of fish photography
