Germany – Duisburg, 3-7 October 2007
This is the first display at the DCG of Bujurquina oeunalaenus from Bolivia
Symphysodon discus – a nice biotope for the Heckel-discus (copied authentic from Heiko’s previous Heckel-discus biotopes: well done) at the Zierfische & Aquarium 2007
There were also angelfishes displayed and their biotopes: the so-called Altums (top), which are in fact Pterophyllum scalare from the Rio Negro in a nice setting with bamboo and beautiful P. scalare from Peru in a biotope display (above left and right)
This decoration of a Tanganyika-habitat was also nicely done by the DCG…
Here another Tanganyika biotope aquarium (top) with some interesting species like: Lamprologus caudopunctatus (center left) Altolamprologus compressiceps (center right), Lamprologus multifasciatus (above left) and Paracypichromis nigripinnis (above right)…
…and Cyprichromis cf. leptostoma with its unique colour pattern from Kituma, Congo and…
…Xenotilapia cf. ochrogenys in display of its fantastic courtship colours
Some more nicely decorated aquariums: one for Hemichromis from West Africa (top), one aquascape, just beautiful plants and no particular biotope (center) and a detail (mouth) photo for the Aufwuchs-eater from Lake Malawi: Cyrtocara moorii (above)
