Colombia-Brazil – Leticia and Caldéron, 17-20 August 2008
For the second time Heiko Bleher researched the Columbian and Brazilian side of the region only before him visited by the some French architect Jobert and the Brazilian ethnologist Harald Schulz. The río Calderón and Igarapé do Belém, a blackwater river flowing from Colombia into Brazil north of Leticia and Tabatinga which has an interesting colour form of blue discus, Symphysodon haraldi, already collected by Jobert in that area in the 1870s… soon more about this expedition.
