Tajikistan – Dushanbe, 12 August 2011
The very active director Simon Ravelli of Bactria Cultural Centre in Dushanbe, Tajikistan http://www.bactria.net/ had invited Heiko Bleher for a presentation with the title « Where is Tajikistan… »
Heiko Bleher’s Heikomobil has been kept for some time under the guard of the French humanitarian and development NGO “ACTED” http://www.acted.org/ in Dushanbe, at the place where today is the Bactria Cultural Centre created in December 2001 by ACTED to address the lack of access to culture, information and vocational training in Tajikistan. Since then, the centre has become a focal point in Dushanbe’s cultural life. And especially since the French director Simon Ravelli took over http://www.bactria.net/. He is an extreme worker and very active young man, who also invited Heiko to give a talk on August 12, 2011 with the title « Where is Tajikistan? » At this occasion Heiko did also thank ACTED and Simon Ravelli for the great help in keeping his research vehicle save guard in Tajikistan for some time.

The following day, at the Bactria home, they prepared for every one this beautiful and very delicious natural Tajik dish, here the entire procedure how it was made. The bactria woman-cook was such a fantastic lady …
… she even prepared a beautiful Russian fish dish (she is from Russia), and we had a incredible Bactria-Tajik-Diner. Thank you Bactria, thank you ACTED, thank you Simon.
The best Kamerad (this is how I called him and he me…)a long-time worker for ACTED and Bactria, is one of the nicest gentleman I have ever meet in my life. He helped me everywhere with my Heikomoble, in every moment he came when I needed something else to repair, or buy. Thank you Kamerad, you are the best. And regards to your nice family …
