Below some photos of a visit in November 2008
Tony invited us to amazing Chinese seafood restaurant – everything served was chosen alive
Toni’s installation is built to perfection, with huge water filtration and storage systems. He changes twice daily 100% of the discus water in each aquarium by means of an individual in and outflow system (no aquarium is connected to a second one). Each net (one for each aquarium) is sterilized following Heiko’s advice, but have a look at some of his great discus:
Beautiful discus well feed and grown almost identical in size. I personally care less for the latter, the “bulldog” discus, these “monsters” as I call them, should not never be bred…
His breeding rooms are separated from all others rooms and totally disinfected, even its entrance and exit to the breeding rooms. In addition he ads to the breeding water methylene blue once they lay the eggs (right)
Tony also uses (and sells) the leafs for the discus aquarium and has a real watchdog
Congratulation Tony – keep up with good work
